The Bonds Verdict Seems Odd to Me

I don't want to spend too much time on the Barry Bonds trail but I do want to make a quick comment that this does seem to be an odd conclusion to reach for the jury.

I am not a lawyer and I don't even pretend to be one on the Internet, but it seems pretty weird that Bonds was found guilty of obstruction, but they didn't believe that he lied. In my layman opinion, that doesn't seem logical.

At least the great Craig Calcaterra of Hardball Talk agrees with me.
