Giants take series against O's

Giants 6 and Orioles 3:

A weird outing from Tim Lincecum. He had a number of high stress innings where there always seemed to be a number of runners on base but was able to limit the damage. He went 6 innings gave up 2 runs while striking out 10 and walking 4. Not particularly sharp but good enough for a win. There was a scary moment to end his outing where he was hit in the back with a line drive but he appears to be ok.

After taking a night off yesterday the offense was back humming again. They scored 6 but after the first inning it could have been much more if not for some unusual baserunning. Aubrey Huff and Juan Uribe both went deep in the game and back to back for the second time in 3 days. I could use some more of that. Nice to see the offense puts some runs on the board.

Player of the Game:

It has got to be Aubrey Huff, a 3 hit day and a home run that is clutch right there. A tip of the hat to Brian Wilson who came in for another 5 out save and saved things in the hariy 8th before some late insurance runs.

Aubrey Huff's line: 3-4 HR, 3 runs and 2 RBI's

Looking Ahead:

Off day tomorrow and then a 3 game set with the slugging Toranto Blue Jays. The Giants will send Barry Zito, Matt Cain and Jonathan Sanchez. After that they head to Houston where they started the season perfect, hopefully the Giants can go .500 or maybe better.
