Projecting the Series: Giants vs Pirates

The Giants are in a funk but that funk is nowhere near as bad as the Pirates, who had aspirations of a winning season for the first time in a generation but now must come to grips with the high probability of another losing season.

Playing the down and out Pirates couldn't come at a better time for the Giants, who have been struggling mightily and have seen their division lead shrink to just a half a game. A winning series would be just what the doctor ordered and it seems that my projection system has them favored for the first time since I created it.
