Small Sample Size Fun: Tim Lincecum Edition

It is Lincecum Day which doesn't give you the same bounce in your step and confiedence that it used to. In fact if your anything like me it leaves you with a pit in your stomach and puts you a little on edge.

With out any further long windeness in today's Small Sample Size Fun™ the Crazy Crabbers proudly present two players stat lines over 12 games. One is 2 time Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum and the other is everybodies favorite punching bag Todd Wellemeyer.

See if you can see which is which.

Player B: 12 games 58.2 innings 5.52 ERA, WPA: -0.347, RE24: -4.34

Still not pretty and it saddens me that one of these two is Tim Lincecum. I hate to add to the alarm as 12 games and less then 100 innings isn't enough to prove or disprove anything (that is why there is so much varation and trouble evaluating relievers) but man I hope that this is just a rough patch and not the start of a new trend.

Not that it really matters because if it was either player it would be depressing and unfreak like but he is player A
