Bowkermania! Update End of Seaon numbers

Bowkermania! Update End of Seaon numbers:

John Bowker was called up with the roster expansions of September 1st. He got off to a slow start but did much better with more at bats finishing with somewhat decent numbers. One of the most encouraging signs was that in the last month of the season he had nearly as many walks as strikeouts something that he had shown in AAA but never put together in the majors.
He started to put it together in his last 16 games collecting 15 fo his 16 hits, 4 of his 5 doubles and both of his homeruns. he hit .306/ .391/ .510 with a .903 OPS which hints at what he is capable of if he puts things together.

Here are his numbers from his latest stint in the big leagues.

26 games, 69 at bats, .232/ .312/ .391 .703 OPS, 16 hits, 5 doubles, 2 home runs, 13 RBI, 9 walks against 10 strikeouts

All very encouraging signs for Bowker. He ended the season on the right note hopefully he can keep everything going and earn himself a roster spot for next season.
